    Chairman

    Gunter Pauli has made a difference as entrepreneur and investor. He coined the term zero emissions in 1988 and built the first factory in 1992. He has been key in the industrialization of green detergents, bioplastics, stone paper and mushroom farming. His books are translated in +60 languages. His concept of The Blue Economy was adopted by the United Nations in 2009. Today more than two dozen governments have a Minister for the Blue Economy. He is the owner of the experimental ship Porrima that holds the world record sailing with solar and which is now the model for the industrialization of zero emissions maritime transport

  • George Edde

    George Edde is an investment banker, business and financial consultant who brings his relationships with Hollywood stars and agents as well as his knowledge of financial techniques to the film industry, financial world and oil and gas industry. Upon completing his business management studies at UCLA, Mr. Edde was invited to Saudi Arabia by King Fahd to consult with and advise the King and the Royal Family. After 12 years with the Royal Family in Saudi Arabia, Mr. Edde embarked on various entrepreneurial and consulting engagements. Mr. Edde has throughout the years retained strong ties and relationships in the Middle East.

  • Gerry van der Sluys

    Gerry van der Sluys was born in the Netherlands and has been living in Switzerland since 1989. He is a serial entrepreneur and investor. He started his career in the semiconductor business (Philips, Fairchild and ASML). He is the co-owner and CEO of Business Creation Investments, a company that acquires and restructures carve-outs from large corporations with the aim to save jobs. Since he founded the wind turbine company EWT, he became strongly involved in the field of sustainable development. He is the co-organizer of the annual Green Accelerator event in Davos and the founder of various business accelerators for start-up companies.

Walter has more than 30 years of experience in, private Equity , Venture Capital and Direct Investments. He led more than 60 successful acquisitions, 29 M&A deals, and more than 40 Venture Capital investments, leading personally more than 30 successful exits through strategic buyers. Prior to Phimpact, he developed his career at international organizations like Merrill Lynch, ABN AMRO and Citicorp, in New York, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, London and Geneva. He was part of the founding team of Citicorp Venture Capital (CVC) and Citicorp Capital Investors pioneers in the industry . He has participated in more than 39 fund raising process for different direct investment vehicles, VC`s , Private Equity and Real Estate Investment Funds. As General Partner , he was appointed as board member in more than 30 privately held and listed portfolio companies, including three where he acted as CEO.   • David Gibson-Moore

    Mr. Gibson-Moore has had a 30-year career in banking general management as well as corporate finance, investment banking and asset management. He has specialised in private equity and institutional asset management since 2000. From 2009 to 2014 he was Managing Director and Regional Representative of LGT Bank covering the MENA region. The LGT Group is privately owned by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein and focuses word-wide on institutional and family office asset management. Before joining LGT Group, he was Chief Executive Officer Middle East for the Robeco Group. He set up Robeco’s regional office in Bahrain with responsibility for their institutional asset management business in the MENA region. Clients included all the regional sovereign wealth funds, government institutions, banks and family offices. From scratch AUM of over $7bn were achieved. Mr. Gibson-Moore was a Member of the Middle East Advisory Board of the Robeco Group from 2008 - 2014. He was previously 15 years with Chase Manhattan Bank (subsequently JPMorgan Chase) where he was Chairman of the Boards of Chase Manhattan Bank in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Jersey and Swiss Country Manger. In addition, he was Head of the Europe, Middle East and Africa Division for 8 years and was subsequently responsible

Paul previously worked at Sainsbury’s-Argos where he led Sustainability, Energy, Engineering, Environment and Property. His strategic and operational experience incorporate carbon reduction through engineering and energy solutions through to circular economy, waste & recycling, energy management, setting energy and carbon reduction targets, building resilience through sustainable supply chains. Paul was instrumental in delivering a significant number of the highest returning investments in Sainsbury’s 150-year-old history through key sustainability technology and led major alternative investment strategies through funding streams sitting outside of Sainsbury’s capital investment program. Paul is a Member of the’ Environmental and Sustainability Advisory Panel for The Household of TRH The Prince of Wales & The Duchess of Cornwall’, and a ‘Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts’.
